About The Entry

This is a place where the past, present, and future of architectural exploration converge, and Dragonbot stands as a beacon of that convergence. It echoes the ethos of Georgia Tech’s Hinman Building—a space where ideas take flight, as effortlessly as the wings of the installation that flit and flutter overhead, creating a world of comfort and creativity beneath them.
Enter the Dragonbot, a visionary installation designed to elevate the experience of users and visitors. Inspired by the delicate shape and graceful movements of dragonfly wings. As these wings move gracefully, they generate a refreshing mist and breeze to cool the sweltering summer air. In winter, they stay still, radiating warmth, transforming the courtyard into a haven of comfort and connection throughout the year.
