Rooted in China’s millennia-old ritual traditions, "NIRVANA" INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE SILK CULTURAL AND CREATIVE GIFT SET reimagines the legendary phoenix as a symbol of rebirth, transformation, and virtue. Drawing inspiration from the myth of Phoenix Nirvana and the folk tale From Hen to Phoenix, the set embodies the spirit of perseverance and self-reinvention—an ethos that resonates with modern innovators and dreamers alike.
The gift set fuses two traditional art forms: Hubei Yingshan’s endangered Chuanhua (silk thread flower) technique and eco-conscious digital silk printing. It features a square silk scarf crafted from 100% recycled 18mm twill silk, showcasing a double-sided digital print of a phoenix in fiery ascent and graceful rebirth—an artistic narrative of “burning feathers” to “new plumage.” The round Chuanhua Phoenix Lantern Fan doubles as both home décor and a wearable ornament, featuring a collapsible handle, magnetic snap, and sustainable LED light source.
Design elements incorporate motifs from Chu-Han culture such as auspicious clouds, bronze dragon totems, crane silhouettes, and fire patterns, reflecting regional aesthetics and philosophies. The scarf and fan also echo the ancient Chinese cosmological belief in "Heaven as a circle, Earth as a square," offering a harmonious fusion of form and meaning.
Color-wise, the gift set transitions from vermilion red to molten gold, then to serene moon-white and sky-blue, visualizing both fiery rebirth and tranquil renewal. Whether worn, displayed, or gifted, NIRVANA transcends utility to become a poetic vessel of cultural storytelling, personal empowerment, and sustainable craftsmanship. It serves as a model for integrating intangible heritage with contemporary design, bringing ancient wisdom into everyday modern life.
