Dutch Masters is more than a cigar brand – it's a champion of the creative journey to greatness. At Roots Picnic 2025, the definitive music, art, and culture festival curated by The Roots, Dutch Masters created an essential addition to the ritual of creative expression.
The Dutch Masters Burn Slow Lounge welcomed Philadelphia festivalgoers through an immersive celebration of hustle, individuality, and creativity. More than a hangout, the lounge invited authentic self-expression through artistry and organic conversation, elevating the festival experience rather than blending into the noise.
Dutch Masters maximized every inch of its two-tiered footprint. A podcast studio captured attendees discussing music, pop culture, and side hustles, producing high-res, shareable vertical videos delivered directly via email. This sparked earned UGC as creators shared their mini-podcast moments online.
The activation's crown jewel was a T-shirt customization station where attendees unleashed creativity with graffiti, splatter paint, and stencils. Beyond creating personalized Dutch Masters merch, it gave festivalgoers a physical manifestation of their experience to take home. In addition to the interactive elements, the footprint had premium two-tier seating, providing prime main stage viewing access.
The results proved Dutch Masters' authentic connection: 96% of attendees rated the experience 4-out-of-5 stars or higher, while 98% would recommend it to friends – confirming Dutch Masters as a meaningful presence in the creative community, not just a cigar brand.
