Now in its 13th year, the Mira Place "Gimme LiVe" Music Festival has solidified its status as Hong Kong's premier in-mall music event. As a heartfelt tribute to the city's vibrant music scene, the festival serves as a powerful platform for both established stars and emerging voices. This year's theme, "Voice Arise," encapsulates the festival's core mission: to amplify the creative power of singer-songwriters and provide a stage where new musical energy can flourish. A Star-Studded Celebration of Originality
The 2025 festival featured an exceptional lineup of 20 performance acts over four consecutive Saturdays, with over 90% being talented singer-songwriters. Headliners included popular artists and bands like Dear Jane, On Chan, Kiri T, and Chantel Yiu, who shared the stage with a new generation of award-winning rising stars such as Dale, Tse Nga Yi, and Gordon Flanders. In a landmark collaboration, renowned music producer Terry Chui joined as the festival's Star Music Consultant, curating bespoke setlists and live jamming sessions that ignited the stage with fresh, innovative energy. This powerful blend of established icons and emerging artists created a dynamic and unforgettable musical experience.
Innovative Stage Design and Immersive Fan Engagement
For its 13th anniversary, Gimme LiVe introduced Hong Kong's first-ever electric guitar-shaped T-stage, a design innovation that brought fans closer to their idols than ever before. A massive lyric display screen encouraged crowd-wide sing-alongs, fostering a powerful sense of community and shared passion. Off-stage, the Lyrics Mirror Room allowed fans to connect with their favorite lyrics and create shareable mirror selfies. In another first, the festival partnered with HKT AR Lens to create an immersive music-AR shopping experience, allowing attendees to scan QR codes for exclusive artist gifts and merchant offers, seamlessly blending music, technology, and retail into one cohesive and exciting event.
