South Yards by Anthem Properties is a thoughtfully designed 8-acre master-planned community that blends contemporary architecture with vibrant, people-first public space. Anchored by a centrally located 1-acre urban park, the precinct brings together sleek high-rise living with an active mix of residential and commercial uses. A pedestrian-friendly layout and integrated green connections support a balanced lifestyle that feels both urban and grounded.
FKD Studio was engaged to bring the South Yards vision to life on screen through a cinematic architectural film that energised the marketing narrative and communicated the broader masterplan with clarity and momentum, seamlessly blending live-action plates with high-end CG environments. A standout moment in the film featured the sculptural giraffes planned as a public art centrepiece. FKD animated the characters, bringing them into the site with a sense of presence and personality before guiding them into their final resting positions. This sequence became a memorable visual signature for the development, reinforcing South Yards as a place with identity, delight, and a strong public realm.
Produced in collaboration with Provoke Studios, the project was driven by FKD’s hands-on animation craft and design sensibility, resulting in a final film that was extremely well received. The finished work elevated the campaign through artistry, pace, and visual cohesion, helping audiences immediately understand South Yards as a vibrant, connected urban community.
