The CHI Excellence Award visual identity was developed for the Council of Health Insurance to celebrate excellence, innovation, and measurable impact across Saudi Arabia’s healthcare ecosystem. The objective was to craft a distinctive, prestigious, and future-ready brand that reflects the award’s national significance while aligning with the Council’s strategic role in advancing healthcare quality, regulatory excellence, and operational efficiency in the Kingdom.
At the heart of the identity is the sculptural form of the award trophy itself. Rather than treating the trophy as a standalone object, it was transformed into the core visual symbol of the brand. Its refined vertical silhouette represents aspiration, upward growth, and continuous progress—values that mirror the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector. The elegant gold finish reinforces themes of achievement, credibility, and high distinction, positioning the award as a benchmark of excellence within the industry.
A sophisticated color palette was developed to further strengthen the brand’s positioning. Deep royal purple was selected as the primary color to convey authority, prestige, and leadership, while vibrant accent tones were introduced to express vitality, innovation, and the dynamic transformation of the healthcare landscape. Supporting graphic patterns were derived directly from the trophy’s silhouette, forming a cohesive and flexible visual system adaptable across diverse applications while maintaining strong brand recognition.
Typography played a critical role in reinforcing clarity and professionalism. Carefully selected Arabic and English typefaces ensure modernity, legibility, and consistency across both digital and physical platforms, reflecting the award’s inclusive and national reach.
The identity system was comprehensively applied across event staging, environmental graphics, digital platforms, printed materials, motion visuals, and branded merchandise. The result is a unified and immersive brand experience that elevates the ceremony and solidifies the CHI Excellence Award as a leading national recognition platform within Saudi Arabia’s healthcare insurance sector.
