2026 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen's Head Illuminated at Night is curated under the theme "Tidal Gallery · Yehliu Dual Queens, Living Legacy," transforming Taiwan's iconic Yehliu Geopark into an immersive nighttime art museum where nature, art, and culture converge. Featuring the legendary Queen's Head and the emerging Cute Princess as its dual icons, the exhibition symbolizes the continuity of geological life and intergenerational legacy. Through five themed lighting zones, projection mapping, animation, and immersive interactive light installations, it reinterprets Yehliu's extraordinary geological landscape and coastal culture, creating a nighttime experience that blends artistic expression, education, and tourism.
Guided by the principles of cultural sustainability, environmental sustainability, and local prosperity, the project adopts a low-impact lighting design to minimize disturbance to the natural landscape and surrounding ecosystem. By integrating community co-creation, local cultural narratives, and regional tourism resources, it strengthens public appreciation of Taiwan's geological heritage while stimulating sustainable nighttime tourism and the local economy.
