FastWave: Next-Level Intravascular Lithotripsy

FastWave Medical is a clinical-stage medtech company developing next-generation intravascular lithotripsy systems for calcific artery disease. To introduce its Artero™ peripheral IVL system, Sensu created a high-impact 3D animation designed to engage medical professionals and investors.
Rather than create a conventional medical explainer, we treated Artero™ like a flagship product launch. With no voiceover, the film relies on concise on-screen messaging, detailed 3D visualisation, fast-paced editing and an original high-energy electronic soundtrack.
Key product benefits – from deliverability and pulse frequency to sonic coverage and procedural feedback – are translated into a bold, rhythmic sequence. Abstract environments, vivid colour, rotational close-ups and explosive particle effects give the technology a distinctive presence, with motion and messaging meticulously timed to the beat.
The visual language extended beyond the film itself, helping shape FastWave’s wider digital presence and a suite of purpose-built campaign assets for web, social media, investor presentations and medical events.
The result brings the pace, polish and visual ambition of a flagship consumer launch to medtech – combining technical clarity with commercial impact and giving FastWave a distinctive introduction to the IVL space.
