WAVE Feminist

The International Women's Development Agency (IWDA) asked us to help them create a viral message on the socials for all women, especially those in Asia and the Pacific region. The message needed to create a vision of the future. IWDA works to increase the representation of women in diverse leadership positions and they wanted our help to inspire this possibility. We thought a purpose written Spoken Word piece which is married to hand drawn animated illustrations of real world leaders, would be a beautiful way to connect the message to the people.
The end product is a 3:30min animation, along with trailers and short cut down teasers, featuring the diverse female leaders across the world. This video has been a huge success being shared around social media and raising awareness.
