The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Leadership and Learning Institute (FLLI) required support in refreshing its FLLI branding scheme, updating the program logo, developing new templates, and re-designing the course catalog focused on FLLI service offerings. The target audiences for the FLLI brand included:
• FAA Managers and Supervisors
• Senior Leadership
• Non-Supervisory Employees
• Training Coordinators
• FLLI Administrators
Avyance led the re-design of FAA’s 2019 FLLI Course Catalog with the following elements:
• Library of courses, including course objectives, learning outcomes
• Charts demonstrating course alignment to FAA Strategic Leadership Capabilities (SLCs)
• Facilitator bios
• Welcome letter
A full suite of technical and communications capabilities was deployed to complete the project. The end result – a 96-page catalog – was well received by the target audiences. Catalog designers were commended for:
• Understanding of stakeholder needs
• Strong working relationships with key groups and target audiences across FAA
• Extensive knowledge of FLLI course offerings, catalog structure, and content
• Experience designing and developing communications products for government use
