Black Sheep Studios had been open for over a year when they approached Vinyl about their brand and web presence. The problem was simple: their brand, website and marketing materials didn’t represent the quality and energy of their studio. Knowing how amazing their studio and team was, Vinyl jumped at the opportunity to create a world class brand and web presence for Black Sheep. The process started with art direction – Vinyl created a look that matched the experience of going to a class at the studio. A day long photo shoot was planned, focusing on elements such as poses, lighting, angles, and emotions. Every detail was planned ahead of time for a smooth shoot, and the results were stunning. Vinyl created a style guide for colors, typography and image processing to use on the website and marketing materials. Each element was carefully selected to add the right energy to the visual experience. The website was identified as the most important customer touch point, serving to both attract new customers and allow existing customers to book classes. Vinyl set out to design and build a world class website fit for a world class studio. The website highlighted the unique spaces, amazing team of instructors, and made it easy for visitors to explore the selection of workouts. Each workout received a page that broke down the difficulty, intensity, and area of emphasis, along with custom photos and recommendations for similar workouts. Immediately following launch, Black Sheep saw a tremendous spike in attendance and interest and is now firmly established as the go-to fitness studio on the Jersey Shore.
