About The Entry

Our market research for this initiative was broad and with a lot of depth. Namely:
196 physicians interviewed (hematologists, oncologists, rheumatologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists)
155 global physicians- powered for statistical significance
3 rounds of research (qualitative and quantitative)
15 Celgene stakeholders
Data from researchoncology
The data from this research demonstrated clearly that there is a need for a better clinical trial search destination.

What do physicians want in clinical trials:
In our research, we are including physicians as the following groups: doctors treating patients and medical researchers
What physicians are currently going through: Our research showed that physicians live an incredibly fast-paced world where they don’t have much time to research to find what they need. They do not want to waste time finding the information that they need, they want to focus instead their time on helping and treating patients. Physicians are overwhelmed and find it aggravating when they can’t find what they need in a timely fashion…which directly affects patients’ outcomes.
What physicians need:
The most important criteria for physicians is that they can trust the information provided in an unbiased way. They do not gravitate towards pharma companies’ website as the information is seen to promotional: there is a conflict of interest. It is crucial for them to find information that remains purely scientific and not promotional
They yearn for an interface that is intuitive, easy to navigate, and where information is displayed in way that is easy to consume with efficient hierarchy of content organization
In order to make the right decision quickly, they need information that is concise and straightforward, while still being comprehensive
Physicians are like you and me, and we all want to have a good and enjoyable experience when we search
