For the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, our Pizza Tournament was the ultimate in turning a negative into a positive. A FB post on "pi day" (March 14) was intended to highlight our pizzerias throughout Montgomery County, Pa. What it ended up doing was launching a huge debate about who was best. Rather than run from it, we embraced the controversy and turned the decision-making to our followers, all styled after an NCAA tournament with brackets, social posts and PR followup.
