When the client asked how their brand could stand apart from the trope of "healthy alternative to soda" kombucha invariably falls into, we decided to abandon convention entirely and create the ultimate anti-commercial for this strange probiotic beverage. The ad follows the surreal shenanigans of the Scoby family and their peculiar love of kombucha and their trademark line, "Trust the Mother!" Fans of the Twilight Zone and Cronenberg will feel right at home with this one as practical effects were used to bring up some of the more biotic aspects of the fermented tea drink. This is a Kult after all, and the kool-aid has never tasted healthier!
