GitHub had just launched a campaign to celebrate its ten year anniversary, looking back at the accomplishments of the last ten years. In 2018, it turned to the next ten years. We were tasked with a video to tell this brand story, featuring open source technology, and its potential to affect positive change in the world in the next ten years. This video needed to feel real, to be based somewhat on actual open source projects, and to really humanize the power of technology.
