BLOCH is the world’s leading brand for technical dance and apparel with a proven history of superior design and innovation since 1932. Since that time, the rapid growth of BLOCH’s reputation has established the brand as one of the most trusted within the industry. Across ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and Latin, their range of dancewear and dance shoes allow for individual expression and movement.
With the natural progression of their technical dance product range, they approached us for an eCommerce site that would be flexible during BLOCH’s evolution, as well as intuitive and emotionally engaging for their customers. The project’s objectives were to migrate them from their custom built platform onto Shopify, launching a new dance website that brought the brand to life in a digital capacity, while further setting the brand apart from its competitors. It was really important to create a platform that would be able to grow and evolve with BLOCH as a brand and a business, creating a seamless branded omnichannel experience and achieving commercial growth targets.
We worked hard with their team to create a platform capable of handling the features and functionalities, online traffic and sales and to do so through a simplified, light interface that visually exudes the passion and excitement that the brand has for dance. The pages’ layouts are clear, making it easy for the customers to browse through and find what they are looking for, simplifying the purchase journey.
