The Northwell Health “Together We Well” movement represents a paradigm shift in the way people view health and wellness - from one reliant on doctors to fix our problems, to one where we all become active participants in our physical and emotional wellbeing. . The marketing movement engages the New York community and encourages them to become partners with Northwell in their health -- to move beyond simply being simply a medical patient. The movement was introduced at the height of the COVID-19 crisis in New York, the epicenter of the pandemic.
The hub of the movement is TogetherWeWell.Com -- a place where participants find inspiration and content about what it means to be a partner, rather than a patient. The movement features TV, social media, outdoor, digital display, radio, and internal activation.
The Together We Well movement accentuates the bond that Northwell Health has with the NY community, including its patients. It gives nod to the role that NY citizens play in their wellness and that of their neighbors – not just in the COVID-19 pandemic, but always.
The TWW platform uses the power of animated storytelling to make its point. The TV features the story of a young girl who rallies New Yorkers to assist health care workers in the pandemic. It is voiced by IN-Q, the award-winning beat poet, with inspirational and uplifting prose. It was directed by Fredrik Bond of MJZ and animated by Eight VFX.
Other visual components of the campaign depict new rituals that the public has come to know throughout the COVID-19 era – such as the celebratory “clap out” honoring patients who have been treated and discharged from a Northwell facility. It also pays homage to essential workers in other lines of business throughout NY.
