NJI Media was approached by The First Five Years Fund (FFYF), to redesign their website and refresh their brand identity. FFYF’s mission is to advocate for equal access to affordable, comprehensive, high-quality care and education from children ages 0-5. They have a diverse audience- including lobbyists, elected officials, media outlets, and childcare providers at both the national and state level. Our team updated FFYF’s color palette and transformed their original logo from five circles, into five building blocks - which anchors the brand and provides immediate insight into their work. We carried this playful and energetic design philosophy over to their new website. The new FFYF.org included an updated user-driven sitemap, as well as a new layer of connective tissue that directs users to additional, relevant resources. Google Analytics showed a decrease in bounce rates, an increase in time on site, and due to increased SEO the redesign led to a resurgence in funding for the organization.
