Artificial intelligence assists us in the little things that make our lives run smoother every day—from Google Home helping us get our day started in the mornings with our favorite playlist, to Waze helping us avoid traffic on our way to work. But how can AI assist us when we step inside our offices?
AI adoption at the enterprise level can be difficult. According to recent data from O’Reilly, 47% of respondents cited that identifying AI use cases is the biggest barrier to adoption. Salesforce and Launch took this opportunity to help eliminate friction by creating a user-friendly digital guide to AI use cases across Salesforce’s 30+ AI features. We built a guided experience that takes users through three simple steps to reveal different use cases around operationalizing AI in business—showing how other customers have done it successfully and providing concrete next steps to move forward. The experience also included an “intro to AI” guide to help novice users understand key basics along the way.
The site launched in October of 2019, and was showcased in multiple keynote sessions at Dreamforce (one of the largest cloud-and SaaS-centric conferences in the world). Salesforce saw so much success with the tool that we are now templatizing it across other Salesforce cloud services so that users can find tangible use cases across broader product offerings.
