In 2020, amid a global pandemic, Zipwhip made plans to launch its first-ever digital conference—a 2-day virtual event educating the industry on the virtues of texting for business. The in-house creative team was challenged with the naming strategy, as well as developing a visual system that would translate through the virtual platform, as well as produce all materials needed for the event.
For ConText (a double meaning combining conference and texting), the team needed to create a bold new visual identity that complimented Zipwhip’s core brand but stood apart as its own event. A new logo was developed with a “window” cutout in the word text to allow businesses from all industries to “see” how they fit in the texting ecosystem.
The creative team took the visual style and developed motion graphics, visual aids, landing pages, and long-form educational video content for the event—all in a cohesive visual package.
