MI Healthy Mind Show takes a hard look at what “returning citizens” or those who rejoin the community after serving time in jail or prison face once “outside”. Things like the inability to find a job, education, a place to live, a support system, not to mention the STIGMA associated with having done time that can get in the way of trying to start over, and that forces many released inmates to go back to the kind of life that sent them to prison in the first place.
