The posters of the “Dinosaur Girl” series were designed to manifest a strong-willed attitude to face life and enjoy time. The main character is a girl wearing a dinosaur suit with her hands stuffed in the pockets even in scorching hot summer, whose coldness in eyes reveals a silent indictment of society, while wearing a dinosaur suit is her way of feigning toughness to cover up her vulnerabilities. However, she actually aspires to be found, accepted and loved by the outside world.
Based on the hand-drawn cartoons, the posters show the dinosaur girl in different scenarios with polka dot elements symbolizing individuality and boundless imagination adopted in the background. Macaroon as the main color fits with the girl’s inner tenderness and loveliness.
“Good rest”, “Stay fit”, “Alone me”, “Push me” – these four themes demonstrate the dinosaur girl leaning against a cactus, lying in a goblet, staying alone and reclining in a shopping cart respectively, all giving expression to a girl who remains strong even when she is shunned and ostracized by the whole world. The brand hopes to convey the concept of the series of posters: face life with a strong mind and a smiling face. It also expects that people can pay more attention and send more goodwill to such persons around them.
