The Kami Cloud service is an add on service to the Kami Home app. The subscription upgrades the home owner's camera app with Vision AI technology delivered via edge computing capabilities. Just a fancy way to say it makes their cameras smarter and faster. Every Kami camera owner uses the basic app functionality, but few have upgraded to the cloud subscription service. Reason being they simply didn't understand all the benefits of the cloud upgrade. To capture app user attention we wanted to introduce those benefits in an easy to understand, approachable manner that entertained while it educated. From that goal our cloud character, Klaus, was born.
