This documentary tells the powerful story behind the largest single donation in the history of Children's Wisconsin, and offers an inspiring look at how it will help confront the mental and behavioral health crisis facing our kids.
It follows Jeff Yabuki — the former CEO of Fiserv, Inc. — who made the groundbreaking $20 million gift in tribute to his brother Craig, whose childhood depression went undiagnosed. In July 2017, at the age of 52, Craig died by suicide.
The gift will transform the pediatric experience by placing a master’s-trained therapist in every urgent and primary care location across the health system – so when emotional and mental health needs are identified during routine checkups, therapists and pediatricians will be able to collaborate on the spot and start the conversation to immediately support the unique needs of that child and family.
In partnership with Children’s Wisconsin, Jeff and his family want to make sure no other child struggles in silence and fails to receive the care they desperately need.
This video is a small but powerful part of that effort. Together we will change the conversation, change the checkup, and change the result.
