The Assignment:
Home+ is Asurion’s protection plan for all your household tech outside of smartphones. These devices are susceptible to drops, cracks, breakdowns, and other potential disasters. Despite this fact, many consumers elect not to protect their expensive devices or, worse yet, create their own methods for tech defense. Our assignment was to shift that behavior.

The Approach:
Our aim was to bring to life a few key messages in a very limited amount of time. We wanted customers to walk away knowing that: 1) accidents can happen, 2) going your own way to protect your tech isn’t the best idea, 3) Asurion Home+ is the better way.
The story of a mother, daughter, and a dog provided everything we needed to send a clear message. We watch as our mother decides to quickly use her ingenuity in a desperate ploy to protect the tech, she and her daughter rely on using pool noodles. After a quick montage and her daughter’s disappointed face, she and the audience know that Asurion Home+ is the smarter choice for protecting your tech.
