Release Campaign

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) invites regional visitors and residents to release the stress and reconnect in Montgomery County using the #MakeItMontco Hotel Experience.
In partnership with Seven Knots Film & Media, a Philadelphia-based video production company, the VFTCB visually captures Montgomery County as the perfect place to reconnect with loved ones after what’s been a stressful nearly two years.
The emotional video follows two multigenerational families on their escape to Montgomery County, visiting locations like the new Residence Inn in Bala Cynwyd, KOP Town Center, Elmwood Park Zoo, and Valley Forge National Historical Park.
The VFTCB partnered with a record 30 hotels, and over 50 partners, to create this campaign valued at over $1000 in savings from local hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Users can access this year’s specialized hotel rates and offers on the free Visit Valley Forge application when booking a stay at any participating Montgomery County hotel.
In addition to the nearly 100 miles of trails, 1,600 restaurants, and world-class shopping, visitors can complete their stay with Experience discounts from participating partners such as Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, King of Prussia Mall, and more.
Additionally, the VFTCB partnered with Madden Media on a robust media plan to place the marketing campaign in front of a target audience through the end of the year via:
• NBC10/Telemundo to have the commercial spot on their digital channels and air locally during:
o The Olympics, Primetime, and Eagles Pre-season airtime
Since its launch on August 1st, the campaign has received over 2,500 page views on makeitmontco.com, 40,000 YouTube views, 90,000 impressions on Spotify listening service, and more than 50,000 video views on Facebook/ Instagram.
Once a hotel stay is booked as part of the Experience, all password-protected deals are accessible via the free Visit Valley Forge mobile app. The app is an interactive, hand-held guide for where to stay, play, eat, and shop in Montgomery County, Pa.
