This is a story about a boy with short-bowel syndrome. He lives through the darkest and brightest of his childhood fighting with the disease until he meets a friend - a drug Teduglutid - which helps him control th disease and enjoy his life.

The story tells about the boy being born, growing up and becoming an adult. This was interesting to create a character and see him in all these forms.
We animated this piece combining frame-by-frame and 3D animation and finally painting on top of each frame to achieve this hand-drawn texture look.
