Formosan Harmony

Formosan Harmony is a fantasy-driven immersive show about magic, wonder, and the balance between humans and nature. Combining 360 projection, Lidar sensors, HoloLens2 headsets, and Dolby surround sound, our production transforms multiplayer guests into protagonists to unlock scenes through their interactions.

In the show you are aided by Ima, the forest sprite, who guides you to cast spells and solve puzzles along the journey. You learn to grow plants through gestures, bond with Leo, the baby leopard cat and his pack, while earning the trust of the forest.

Trouble ensues when a supposed earthquake splits the ground – it is in fact the impact from an over-surged city. The forest glitches as snake-like electrical plugs shoot from the cracks, attacking Leo who is separated from his family. You parry their attacks but a burst of electricity collapses the earth as you fall in a vertical drop, landing in the heart of a cyberpunk city.

In a hectic roundabout, cars fly by, neon signs glitch, as a swarm of plugs trap Leo in an electric net. A car crash encircles them, as Electro the heinous boss rises from the center. The guests must cast magnetic fields to defeat Electro and his minions, sending a power surge within the city, which shatters into golden particles.

The city evaporates into rainfall as the forest melody calls from afar. Waving your arms, you apply all you’ve learned; the music swells, plants bloom rich in color, Leo reunites with his family, and at last the forest is restored.
