This animation film is an attempt to build bridges between academic research and the public. It was created for INTERfaces, a training network part of Aarhus University in Denmark. It is dedicated to the production of biodegradable bioplastics for a better and cleaner world. In its essence, the film focuses on three main objectives: to communicate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, explain the work packages, and emphasise the team work to show how valuable each research is for the project. The story shows all the research assistants involved in the project as they tell the public their stories about what they researched during the pandemic, what their experiences were, and how they dealt with obstacles. At the end, the film highlights the significance of bridging gaps between academia and the general population on a global scale.
