Hatch works with clients and partners, using structured systems and processes, to ensure safety always. Hatch employees are encouraged to correct safety issues and commend safe behaviours at work, in the field, and at home. Part of this safety effort includes making mental wellness a key priority.
The Mental Wellness and Resiliency experience walks learners through the strategies and practices for strengthening their resilience. Then, through the journey, we highlight the mental health continuum, the signs and symptoms of common mental health disorders, the barriers that stop us from seeking help and identify where to find help within Hatch and the learner’s own community. We explore mental wellness in two ways: the theoretical approach and the practical approach. The theory focuses on the facts of wellness and the practice focuses on activities such as mindfulness exercises, awareness techniques and self-reflection opportunities. Quick Reference Guides are provided to the learned so continue to measure and improve their own wellness and resiliency. Vignettes were created in collaboration with the client and are based on real scenarios from the home and workplace. On the technical side, the visuals were created in Articulate Storyline 360, with input from Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.
