NF Gala

NF Forward is a nonprofit organization that hosts a yearly beNeFit gala in Detroit to raise funding to find a cure for neurofibromatosis. Also known as NF, neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves anywhere in the body. While massive medical strides have been made thanks to the work of NF Forward, the fight is not over. For its 10-year anniversary, this year's disco-themed beNeFit X gala commemorated a Decade Devoted to Ending NF. This milestone event needed the perfect creative to transport gala guests back to the height of roller-skating parties and the Studio 54 era and set the tone for a glamorous night for the cause. Drawing inspiration from coveted vinyl album covers of the 1970s, glam metallics, star filters, and curving retro lines abound to lend a look that is undeniably disco.

The opening video set the tone for the event by capturing the timeless energy and excitement of putting on a catchy song and getting ready for a big night out. We follow along with three characters as they go through their unique routines to prepare to dance the night away. Cameos from the past 9 years of beNeFit galas make appearances in photo frames as a nod to how far we’ve come and those who’ve supported the cause along the way. The video seamlessly dovetailed into the live event as dancers made their way among astonished guests seated at gala tables. A delightfully glamourous way to kick off a gala that was a decade in the making.
