DataPath provides an administration technology platform to third-party administrators (TPAs). One of our major competitors in the technology platform space acquired a TPA which led to them competing against their own clients for new business.
Needless to say, their clients object to this business model.

DataPath undertook a direct mailing to competitor clients addressing pain points by asking if they were "feeling left behind" (showing imagery of a person having missed a train) and pointing out that at the least, their vendors shouldn't compete against them. The mailer included a removable "ticket to success" they could use to get where they needed and wanted to go by changing to our platform, promising a journey that was "First Class all the way."
