The featured program of this Taiwan Traditional Opera Academy performance festival is to travel through time, encounter the past and present, and blend East and West through a dialogue of modern style and cultural inheritance. This extends the audience's sense of time and space, not only by integrating the physical aesthetics, cultural ideas, and skills of the East and West, but also by creating a rare encounter between the two in a seemingly conflicting form.
The visual design concept is to use the Chinese characters representing Eastern culture to deconstruct and reconstruct the characters for "unlimited drama" as a curtain for young people on the new stage. Using contemporary internationalist design techniques, layers of Chinese character strokes are deconstructed to create a three-dimensional space and relationship between performers and the stage, presenting the artistic trend and momentum of the new generation of Taiwanese performers. The symbolic roles also roam among the stage curtains, showcasing the physical movements of performance art with the aesthetic beauty of calligraphy strokes.
