Even though there is increased awareness amongst people about online scams, fraudsters have also raised their game by curating better SMS messages, sending well-designed and authentic-looking emails scamming through believable and convincing phone calls and baiting customers with well-disguised links. All of which would make anyone fall for these traps. stc pay wanted to educate people about these frauds, but in a way that would truly drive home the point. People are exposed to a lot of anti- fraud campaigns and most of these use scare tactics. We noticed that people are quite neutral to such scare tactics so a completely different approach was actually the need of the hour.
