Overview
Matrix MKTG was tasked with creating and developing a promotional asset to drive support for Atlanta Birth Center. A video was produced from original content with the goal of telling a compelling story to engage viewers emotionally, promote the organization, inspire partners, and yield additional financial support.
Approach
Our team took a full-service approach to production, from pre-production through post-production editing, the Matrix MKTG team managed the entire process in-house.
We leveraged 4 key strategies to create the promotional video:
1. Showcase the birth center’s exterior and interior spaces in a compelling manner to demonstrate the attractive aesthetics of the facility.
2. Feature past clients and allow them to give a firsthand account about their experiences at the Atlanta Birth Center.
3. Spotlight the founders as well as board and operations leaders of the Atlanta Birth Center.
4. Utilize interview audio over b-roll content along with interview footage to tell an emotive story.
There were three phases to the editing process for this project. Phase 1 was the review of 8 hours of content from 2 cameras and selection of footage to create an initial timeline for the video. Phase 2 was refinement of the timeline, selection of score and first draft render. Phase 3 included additional refinement of video elements, cleaning up audio, color correction and the inclusion of animation.
Result
The video has already helped Atlanta Birth Center get funding to support its mission and we expect it will help yield even more financial support.
