2022 Taoyuan Land Art Festival “RIVER FLOWS, CITY VIBES”

The theme of this year's Taoyuan Land Art Festival "River Flows, City Vibes" is based on the pictographic image of the word "chuan", dividing Taoyuan's mother river into three components - Dahan River "is a place for people to live in and be stable. The source of life”, “a stream that nurtures a rich ecosystem and an evolution platform”, and “the blood that promotes the development of industries and cities, and the continuous flow of water”, these three symbols symbolize “production”, “ecology” and “life”. The water flow forms the big "river" in Taoyuan; if the entire Taoyuan is likened to a magnificent giant, the Dahan River is the blood vessels all over its body, and the Daxi River basin located upstream is the arterial "artery" surrounding the heart of Taoyuan. "Chuan" is the maintenance of Daxi Sansheng, "pulse" is the heartbeat of the whole Taoyuan, and then becomes the lifeblood of the city, making Da Taoyuan area beating vigorously and endlessly.

The flowing rivers shape the terrain in varied ways. Dahan River extends its watershed through the land of Taoyuan, bringing vibrant culture and living development in this place.
The main element in this key vision is the stream, and the undulating lines symbolize the stream. It diagonally passes through archways that correspond with the flowing "channel", which symbolizes the historical trajectory and the development of Daxi.
Each of the three arches represents three pieces of a puzzle. It can be disassembled and viewed separately, each with a different form of expression. There are three major color scheme—"River Blue", "Skylight ", and "Green Ecology", presenting a series of visual expressions that harmonize with the diverse appearance of Daxi, and all the scenery in Daxi is connected by Dahan River. No matter where you are, the main river of Taoyuan is always with you.
