This design combines the myth and art style of the Dai ethnic group's Water Splashing Festival, using modern and popular illustration techniques to create the story of the festival. The inspiration comes from a folk tale called "The Seven Girls" in which the sisters killed an evil demon and, to avoid the demon's blood from causing harm, they took turns holding the demon's head and exchanging it on the Dai New Year's Day. The girl in the illustration is slender and graceful, inheriting the traditional image of the gentle and beautiful Dai women, which is quite attractive. The lines in the illustration continue the traditional aesthetics of Dai culture, making the overall image clearer with simple and flowing lines. This design conveys the Dai people's good wishes for the future while welcoming the new year and is dedicated to discovering more of the essence of traditional culture and letting more people understand the shocking myths of the ethnic group.
