Established in Brixton, London in 2006, TCN turns unloved buildings into vibrant communities, creating surprising new workspaces that embrace long-term ownership and management. Socrates were appointed to develop an overarching parent brand, one that would evangelise the character and personality of each building. The aim being to create a strong visual language evocative of the team’s vision to develop ‘creative places, for creative minds’.

Comprising a vast number of assets, each with a slightly different sub brand, the brand solution for TCN was to create a distinctly black, white and orange visual language, the black and white element being retained across each sub-brand. Inclusive of a photography style that juxtaposes stylised black and white local area photography, with imagery of people in colour, the narrative and visual language work together to offer a solution with a distinct point of view.
