YY London, Canary Wharf

YY London is a spectacular headquarters workspace opportunity at the heart of London’s Canary Wharf. As part of the launch campaign, Socrates were appointed to conceptualise and produce a teaser film, something to captivate the agency and occupier markets alike. Moving away from the traditional fly-through, and designed to challenge the somewhat staid market, the solution was to showcase the space through the form of dance.

Partnering with renowned dance company, Rambert and with the support of their Artistic Director, Benoit Swan Pouffer, the film follows ‘constructors’ and ‘workers’ throughout the space, from showcasing the spectacular arrival sequence and feature staircase, to the vast floor-to-ceiling heights and open floorplates. The ambition being to subliminally show every aspect of the building and it’s incredible architecture, whilst providing an entertaining, and quite simply, impressive display of modern dance. Published on the YY London website, across social media and as part of behind-the-scenes emailer campaigns, it has garnered much attention in the market.
