HKT Commercial Group would like to recruit university graduates to join its tech specialist team in order to fulfill the surging industry demand for digital transformation. As young adults were targeted in the video campaign, we came up with the theme “Take the Leap, Be the Lead” with a 2.5D animation approach to project a young, energetic look and feel.
To highlight the role of technology in blending the real and the virtual world, we created a storyline in which four university students fall into a metaverse full of mega projects, including electronic parking meters, smart construction, smart surgical glasses and more. To create vividness and attract young people, we adopted a refreshing color tone with pixelated design in the smart virtual city.
We are thrilled that this video, being fun, informative and visually appealing at the same time, has set the brand-new tone for recruitment videos, which are normally perceived as lackluster and underwhelming.
