Pura Vida needed a rebrand to set them apart from a host of other brands with the same name. We named it VidaVibe, a natural progression from the existing name that maintains a good amount of brand equity while also creating much-needed ownability and whitespace. The 4-4 match and repetition make the name memorable and visually appealing. The ‘v’ of volleyball shows up twice in the name to make a subconscious connection to the brand's bread and butter. VidaVibe is a lifestyle brand that allows the continuation of the Costa Rica narrative and motivates people the same way that PuraVida does. The logo design is dynamic and sporty. It provokes a slightly vintage sensibility while sporting a trendy and modern aesthetic. The color palette was developed to feel at home on the beach while flexing to appeal to male and female demographics.
