"Enerjimi Koruyorum" project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, aims to contribute value to society. The project focuses on creating awareness of energy conservation among children. The Enerjisa Children's Theater named "Küsmesin Yıldızlar" and energy efficiency training programs have reached over 300,000 children from 750 schools in 14 provinces.
In addition, the project has reached approximately 7 million children through special sponsorship agreements, participation in festivals and events, and supporting initiatives such as the Enerjisa Short Story Contest and the "Enerjimi Koruyorum" Mobile Game.
During the pandemic, the "Küsmesin Yıldızlar" theater play was adapted to digital platforms, enabling all children to easily watch it. Furthermore, the "Küsmesin Yıldızlar" fairy tale book was combined with a finger puppet set, creating a home theater experience. These adaptations were implemented in 14 provinces to enhance the project's impact. Alongside this achievement, the project continues to position itself as a value within the corporate culture with the support of 420 volunteer employees known as "Enerjik Gönüller".
The Energy Protectors project aimed to raise awareness among young people studying in six major cities in Turkey about efficient energy use, environmental sustainability, and global awareness.
The participation of 120 volunteer students who wanted to contribute to the common good, became volunteer trainers after receiving training. Following the training process, they conducted activities using gamification techniques, along with Sabancı volunteers, to develop an awareness of energy conservation, sustainability, and global consciousness among more than 3,000 children aged 7 to 10.
All project achievements are carried forward in accordance with Enerjisa's social responsibility approach, taking social impact into account and aiming for sustainability in the coming years. According to a report that measures the social impact created by Enerjimi Koruyorum using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology, every 1 Turkish lira invested in the project generated a value of 2.7 Turkish liras.
Looking at the global context through this report, it is observed that the SROI value is 1:1, meaning that every 1 Turkish lira invested in the project creates 1 Turkish lira of social value.
