The IMF is a big place. With around 2,400 employees from more than 160 countries, it can be a challenge to build and foster a sense of community among such a far-flung group. But this internal-facing series has succeeded in doing just that.
Get to Know (or G2K) focuses on the daily rigors of members of the Fund and gives them the opportunity to bring the rest of the organization into their world. From our institution-building operations in Central Asia, to those who ensure the lights literally stay on in our Washington, DC, Headquarters, Get to Know is a deep dive into the particulars of what – and who – makes the Fund work.
G2K’s in-studio discussions feature pre-produced segments, bespoke graphical and video elements to populate the set, as well as customized on-screen animations.
The graphical layout takes traditional Fund branding in fun new directions with an emphasis on the faces of the people that make up the organization. An embedded semi-circle pattern repeats to subtly reinforce the concept of breaking out of our own little worlds, or conversely, being let into the privileged sphere of someone else’s.
