Proficient worked on creating a unified brand identity, visual representation, and go-to-market strategy for BizCan, a British Columbia based innovative company enabling Indian Businesses to purchase and invest in businesses in Canada. The brief was to create a dynamic and impactful brand identity. This began with a discovery session wherein we identified what the client requirements were and subsequently did a competitive analysis to identify the best strategy for BizCan.
This submission consists of the Logo that Proficient designed as part of this project.
The client’s main service, investing in businesses in Canada, is incorporated by the imagery of the Canadian maple leaf in red colour which is the foundation of the logo. This is interceded with the tricolour of the Indian flag as a representation of investors from India depicting the Indo-Canadian connect and the building silhouette to represent business growth with the merger of these two.
The company name incorporates the maple leaf on the “i” of BizCan typography to further create a unique Canadian impact.
The colour palette pairs blue with a vibrant red and gold to convey an energetic, reliable, and bold personality reflective of the brand image. A 3D rendering of the maple leaf was given to enhance the rich and elegant look and feel of the logo. The BizCan logo incorporates design elements that highlight the premium aspect of the brand while also providing a distinctive luxury look and feel to the brand that differentiates it from its competitors.
