On the 4D dark ride, guests journey into the Himalayas and discover why there’s an upside-down house. In the interactive walk-through attraction, guests use numerous custom devices to fight enemies. Voyage of the Fathom Wanderer marks the debut of Suspended Theater®, a flying theater system. Here, guests embark on a daring rescue mission to save an underwater society from a Kraken-like creature. In Challenge of the Mad Mage, guests battle their way to victory inside the first-ever ON!X™ Theater, a revolutionary, special-effects laden, 4D interactive theater that also debuted at the park. These mega-park-level attractions are joined by an outdoor ropes course, an indoor obstacle course, a soft-play area, a carousel that features creatures from the Katmandu universe, and a Mount Everest-sized putt-putt challenge. Guests can deepen their immersion with the BeyondME™ app, which allows them to collect rewards points and see their personalized avatar in certain attractions. Points can be used to save on Katmandu merchandise in the park or meals, snacks, and drinks at any of the themed food trucks. While fueling up, guests might catch a performance of “The Dream Depends on You,” Katmandu’s custom theme song.
