Disney Branded Television came to ZED INK with the opportunity to debut their ambitious and exciting slate of entertainment to a highly anticipating D23 fan audience at the 2022 D23 Expo. With the tongue-in-cheek title of “Disney’s Epic Entertainment Showcase: The Musical: The Extravaganza!” our 90 minute stage show was jam packed with non-stop entertainment from 17+ titles, including High School Musical and Young Jedi. We aimed to capture the magic of Disney, by crafting an event that combined the whimsy of a Disney experience, with the talent and professionalism of a Broadway production.
Our showcase was a celebration of Disney television, and we brought out all the stops with thrilling musical and dance performances featuring casts of some of Disney’s most iconic series. Our 90 minute show featured 149 performers which included Disney cast members, The Muppets, dancers, cheerleaders, roller skaters, and the incredible Detroit Youth Choir. In addition, we featured 62 celebrities, talent and executives onstage, including Tim Allen, Catherine Zeta Jones, Brie Larson, Michelle Yeoh, Laurence Fishbourne, and John Stamos, and our two spectacular hosts, Raven-Symoné and Lilly Singh.
