About The Entry

Of the many types of nanocarriers, nanoparticles are the most common for ocular therapeutics due to their biocompatibility and their capacity to be loaded with drugs and gene therapies. The actual pharmaceutical agent or gene therapy is chemically attached, embedded, or encapsulated in the nanocarrier.
