Hamaspik Resort is a retreat located in Rock Hill, New York. It’s perfect for couples or families looking to get lost in the serenity of the Catskills mountains. This private retreat boasts a beautiful ballroom, delicious food, luxury spa, a prayer hall, and other amenities. All that, with loads of local activities to do in the area as well. We were tasked with creating a website that is relaxing and warm, but also evokes a sense of quality. Hamaspik Resort is an offshoot of Hamaspik Center for Human services. As the former is known for rehabilitation and medical practices, our job was to guide them through new territory, the hospitality industry. We needed to establish the new brand’s independence while maintaining association to the main brand that their clients already know and trust. A sub brand for the ballroom “Mountain Ballroom” was also needed. To carry through the brand's positive association, we kept the logo the same, but changed the fonts and colors around it. A font with crisp font with smooth edges invokes the feeling of being on a mountain. The moody yet sharp earthy tones from emerald green reference nature, relaxation, and peace. While rose gold brings in that confidence and warmth. The Mountain Ballroom branding keeps these colors, but its font is made more circular like a dinner plate. Its logo is a capital M shaped like a mountain. The website opens with a click through shots of the resort amenities. Behind it is a moving image, a misty forest with a rosy tinted skyline filled with clouds. Bright enough to cause a feeling of awe, but dark enough to not take away focus from the main images. Pictures of inside and outside of the resort are found everywhere on the website to provide a sense of confidence in the resort's appearance. Clients can trust what they’re booking. The copy maintains a relaxed but informative tone, that's welcoming.
