The Atlanta Falcons Sundays Retail Collection is a lifestyle clothing offering in its second year that launches in tandem with season kickoff. The collection gives Falcons fans the opportunity to express their fandom in an authentic way through a simple message - “On Sundays in Atlanta, we’re watching Falcons Football.” Sundays has evolved to be more than merchandise; it embodies all of Atlanta Falcons culture and is now synonymous with the brand. Since the implementation of Sundays, it has not only been used for retail but also for digital, social and partnership content throughout the Falcons organization.
Each year, design iterations are tweaked and updated based on fashion trends and team creativity. The white Sundays crew was the hero item in the 2022 collection. 2023 Sundays collection included a white skyline hoodie as the hero item, a gray Sundays hoodie, a white Sundays crewneck in word block font, a gray skyline short sleeve t-shirt, a Sundays rope hat, a Sundays beanie and accessories.
Collection launch has continued to grow year after year. The inaugural launch included assets from a photoshoot at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and content from an exclusive influencer event at Wish ATL. The 2023 launch transcended previous efforts and included Atlanta’s own music artists JID and EarthGang as brand ambassadors for the collection. JID and EarthGang participated as models in a photoshoot on the roof of Mercedes-Benz Stadium overlooking the downtown Atlanta skyline correlating back to the hero item in the collection.
In addition to the photoshoot, the Atlanta Falcons hosted an invite-only influencer event at the High Museum of Art. Attendee list included content creators, executives from local sports teams, political figures and more. Each guest received the skyline hoodie as a gift and enjoyed an open bar, small bites and music from a live DJ and orchestra. JID and EarthGang closed the night with a special performance.
Sundays Retail Collection continues to bring excitement to fans as they get ready for season kickoff. The 2024 collection will continue the momentum and will be bolder than previous years.
