Timberborn - "BETTER" Early Access Trailer

For the 2nd Anniversary of the popular "beaver city builder" Timberborn, Ragdoll created a fun trailer which aims to capture the strategy game's warm tones and challenging gameplay against a post-apocalyptic backdrop.
Creative direction within screenwriting, cinematography, motion design and character animation was defined and refined in close collaboration with the game's production team, and Ragdoll was responsible for the entire production.
The choice to include bespoke, animated scenes, stems from a desire to provide context to the more technical and "pure" gameplay visuals in a humorous way, while contributing to the trailer's narrative: Life as an ingenious beaver engineer is challenging, but rewarding.
